Born in a small town outside of Chicago, Tom Precourt moved to Boulder in 1975 at the age of nine, and has lived in Boulder County ever since. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Out of college, he worked in alumni relations as a fundraiser for the University of Colorado Foundation. Having served on the Dean’s staff in the College of Arts & Sciences, he was later appointed as Executive Director of CU’s Center of the American West for nine years. He graduated from American Real Estate College in Summer 2001, and received his Colorado real estate license in January 2002. Tom worked hard to become one of Walnut Realty’s top agents before Walnut was acquired by RE/MAX Alliance in 2012. Since then, Tom has been an award-winning agent for
RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut.
Tom brings with him years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in real estate sales. Having served hundreds of clients over roughly 15 years, he is one of RE/MAX Alliance’s most experienced brokers. He has also served on a number of volunteer boards, including North Boulder Little League and CU’s Parent’s Association.
Making his home in Erie, Colorado, Tom’s family includes his wife (Stephany),
three daughters (Erin, Quinn, and Molly), and son (Connor).
He is a musician, formerly as lead singer for Boulder’s Wayfarers
a cappella group, and as cast member at Boulder’s Dinner Theater.
For over 30 years, Tom has spent much of his free time as a volunteer youth sports coach with such organizations as Trebol Soccer Club (currently), Peak to Peak High School Baseball, CU Club Baseball, Fairview High School Legion C baseball, North Boulder Little League and Senior Little League, Boulder Junior Softball, and Boulder Junior Soccer. Tom enjoys spending free time with his family, traveling,
and numerous outdoor activities.

Ashley Johnson
Ashley joined the Precourt team in February 2016. She manages
the day to day tasks throughout the office. From mailings to social media,
every detail is essential to providing you with the best real estate service.
She focuses primarily on marketing tasks for the growth of Tom’s business.
She understands that each step is important and strives to make every
process easier for the client through the many helpful hints, tools, articles, etc. that she provides.
Ashley is also a student at the University of Colorado studying Sociology and Business. She loves spending her time with family and friends, hiking, baking and volunteering throughout the community.
Stephany Precourt
Raised in Morrison, and a true Colorado native, Stephany first arrived in Boulder nearly 35 years ago. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Trained as a professional fundraiser, Stephany has worked with such organizations as the University of Colorado Foundation, the University of Denver, The Nature Conservancy, Girl Scouts of America, the Institute for International Education, and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She graduated from the American Real Estate College in October of 2016 and gained licensure in 2017, and joined The Precourt Group at RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut.
Stephany wears a few hats for the Precourt team! In addition to working with buyers and sellers as a Broker Associate, she also manages all of the business finances, payroll and corporate reports. Most importantly, she is instrumental in marketing listings for The Precourt Group. With a flair for interior design, Stephany often consults on staging, decor, and color choice so that our listings look their best before going on market.
Stephany spends many hours each month volunteering her time in local communities. She currently serves on the Patient and Family Advisory Committee at Avista Adventist Hospital and sits on the 2018 Gala Committee for Peak to Peak Charter School. She Co-Chaired the Peak to Peak Charter School Golf Tournament from 2015-2017, and served on the Board of Directors at Trebol Soccer Club and Project YES.
When not working on the Precourt real estate team, she works on maintaining the real "Precourt Team!" For the past 18+ years, Stephany has worked closely with their four children to be sure they are all properly fed, clothed, and well-educated. When she has time, she engages in selfish activities such as: swimming, cooking gourmet meals, baking spectacular custom cakes, reading a good book, or sharing a bottle of wine with friends.

Jenny manages the dates and deadlines, as well as the many details, paperwork and corresponding aspects in every transaction. She prides herself on her organization, efficiency, and attention to detail. With a craving for accuracy, she ensures that the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, providing excellent customer service and a positive experience to my clients and others involved in a successful real estate closing.
When Jenny isn’t behind a computer, she and her husband enjoy playing in the outdoors, mountain biking, camping, and traveling, all with their dogs in tow. She also enjoys the great music scene which is so prominent in Colorado.
With a keen eye for attention to detail, a sincere desire to be helpful, and great pride in her work, Jenny ensures your home sale or purchase is a smooth, positive experience. She is friendly, outgoing, and loves working with people.
